The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “Medical Information Technology Anxiety: Motivating and Inhibitory Factors: A Survey Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Doctors in the City of Mosul”.

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thair Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current study presented by the student “Lubna Saeed Ahmed” in the Department of Business Administration aimed to build and test a model of the factors affecting anxiety towards medical information technology, and based on the literature, a group of factors affecting anxiety were selected in two directions, the first included factors that inhibit anxiety towards information technology and four factors were selected in this direction represented by the availability of facilities, self-efficacy, ease of use, perceived benefit.T

he test results showed that the measurement model for the study variables was characterized by stability and credibility at the level of measurement indicators, underlying factors and all models. With regard to the constructivist model, the results of the analysis showed that there is an adverse moral effect of both the availability of facilities and self-efficacy towards medical information technology anxiety as an inhibitory factor.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Lamia Salman Abdul Ali Al-Zubaidi from Al-Mustansiriya University, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Hussein, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hoda Abdul Rahim Hussein, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Younis Al-Sabawi.
