The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “Green Supply Chain and its Reflection on Sustainable Performance / Testing the Mediating Role of Green Technology: A Case Study in the State Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries – Baghdad”.

The aim of the current study … Which was submitted by the student “Ali Walid Hazem Al-Abadi in the Department of Industrial Management to: Achieving sustainable performance, which represents the goal of most companies in general and industrial ones in particular, industrial companies can achieve performance for their business, but it is very difficult to achieve sustainable performance for them.

The current study attempts to achieve sustainable performance by following green activities represented by green supply chain management practices that include (green purchasing, green design, green manufacturing, reverse logistics) and measuring their impact on achieving sustainable performance included (environmental performance, economic performance, and social performance).

The study reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which were: There is a direct significant impact of green supply chain management practices on sustainable performance, as well as a direct significant impact of green supply chain management practices in green technology.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Akram Ahmed Reda Al-Taweel from Uruk University and the membership of Prof. Dr. Raad Adnan Raouf, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Fattah Al-Shaher, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ali Ismail, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Ghazi Dhanoun, and the supervision and membership of the Dean of the college Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.
