The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The Impact of the Principles of TRIZ Theory on Quality Cost Control / A Case Study in Royal Can Company for the Production of Soft Drink Cans in Sulaymaniyah Governorate”

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current study presented by the student “Ahmed Hadher Ibrahim” in the Department of Industrial Management seeks to diagnose the nature of the relationship and impact between the theory of TRIZ and the cost of quality through a case study in the Royal Can Company in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, as the exploratory study and the work of the researcher for more than a year and a half produced a number of indicators that require study and analysis, most of which were associated with achieving the elements of quality costs, although the company under study adopts the inspection system using laser beams in examining its outputs ( Cans of different types of soft drinks) However, they face costs of various kinds, starting with the cost of prevention and ending with the cost of failure in quality.

The study reached conclusions, most notably: “The existence of a correlation and a significant impact of the TRIZ theory in reducing the cost of quality in Royal can.”

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Adel Zakir Al-Naama, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Abdul Salam Ali Hussein from the University of Anbar, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hani Mohammed, under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Al-Jubouri.
