The participation and presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman, in the work of the Third International Conference on Languages under the title (Languages are the basis of cultural and civilizational communication), which was held by a group of faculties of humanitarian education at the University of Mosul, Diyala University and Tikrit University, which opened its axes on Wednesday, 11/10/2023.

Where it was attended by a number of members of the University of Mosul Council and a number of teachers of the colleges concerned with the conference and a number of students of the University of Mosul, as well as the presence of social and cultural figures from the city and one of the most important objectives of the conference was to document languages in the past and present, unify discourse and activate linguistic awareness, which contributes to maintaining the integrity of languages, and the conference focused on three important axes, the first of which is the language axis (Arabic, and English) and the second axis on literature in the two languages, and the third axis on contrastive studies in Arabic and English.
