The Department of Accounting at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the higher diploma tagged “A proposed model for preparing the budget of higher education funds using the planning and programming budget method, an applied study at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul”.

The current study… Which was submitted by the student “Mena Raad Abdullah” in the Department of Accounting to: Identify the importance and possibility of applying the planning and programming budget to higher education funds, as the applied study dealt with how to establish a proposed model for higher education funds by applying to the Higher Education Fund of the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, as the actual historical data of the college fund was referred to the research sample through its financial statements, as well as statistics represented by the capabilities of the college and each of its scientific departments and deanship.

The study reached the most important conclusions: the possibility of applying the proposed model for the planning and programming budget to the Higher Education Fund of the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, and also reached the efficiency of applying this type of budgets to the Higher Education Fund of the college in question in distributing the resources of its fund in a more fair and transparent manner.

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hazem Al-Yamour, and the membership of each of the teacher Dr. Salem Khalil Khaled and the membership and supervision of the teacher Dr. Saif Al-Din Amjad Ismail.
