The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the Higher Specialized Diploma in Business Administration tagged “Transactional leadership and its role in reducing job laziness: an exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of workers in the General Directorate of Education in Nineveh Governorate”.
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman
The study presented by the student “Ihab Amir Fadel Al-Hayali” in the Department of Business Administration aims to: Demonstrate the role of transactional leadership as an independent variable represented by (conditional reward, conditional punishment, management with exception),in reducing functional laziness as a dependent variable represented by (apathy, interruption, disruptive behavior, low effort, laxity, negativity).
The study reached the most important conclusions: that the individuals working in the Directorate surveyed are subjected to collective punishment in the event of a noticeable failure in the workflow and the punishment is not on the individuals who proved their failure in work.
The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hussein Al-Jarjari and the membership of each of the teacher Dr. Aseel Zuhair Rashid and the membership and supervision of the teacher Dr. Adwaa Kamal Hussein.
