Two lectures were held, the first lecture entitled “Solid Waste Management is an Introduction to Achieving Environmental Sustainability”, which was delivered by Dr. Abdul Aziz Bashar Haseeb
Then followed by the second lecture by Mrs. Ikhlas Ahmed Bashir / Faculty of Electronics Engineering / Department of Communications / University of Nineveh
The workshop aimed to shed light on the concept of environmental pollution The concept of renewable energy and sections of energy sources Natural energy: such as solar cells Non-natural energy:

Such as generators and the most important ways to reduce air pollution and the most important ways to reduce water pollution and the most important ways to reduce soil pollution and the most important ways to reduce thermal pollution and what are the repercussions of renewable energy on the environment Pros and cons of using clean energy, clean energy for a better environment as well as the concept of solid waste and the environmental effects resulting from solid waste and the classification of solid waste and methods of solid waste treatment and the Dutch experience in solid waste management and the state of the Iraqi environment in solid waste management.
