The Council of the College of Administration and Economics held its thirteenth session on Thursday, 28/12/2023. Headed by Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of the Dean’s assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and all members of the Council, the Chairman of the Council welcomed the members and directed the following:
The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to emphasize the commitment to the official working hours of the teaching staff and employees according to the specified timings.
The Dean of the College also directed the heads of scientific departments to apply sustainable development standards in accordance with their set objectives and in a way that contributes to making the College of Administration and Economics a pioneer in achieving sustainable development indicators.
The Dean of the College also directed the heads of scientific departments to prepare a research plan to activate the reality of scientific research at the level of the College of Administration and Economics in a way that contributes to supporting the scientific orientations of the dear University of Mosul.
The Dean of the College also directed the heads of scientific departments to activate research fellowships directed towards reputable international universities in a way that enhances the scientific skills of the researchers of the College of Administration and Economics.
The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to urge the faculty to enhance research activity through the publication of scientific research in local, Arab and international journals, especially publishing in international containers Scopus, which contributes to strengthening the position of the dear University of Mosul in scientific classifications.
In conclusion, the topics on the Council’s agenda were discussed and the necessary and appropriate decisions and recommendations were taken.
