College of Administration and Economics

The Council of the College of Administration and Economics held its sixteenth session on Sunday, 4/2/2024. Headed by Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, Dean of the College, and in the presence of the Dean’s assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and all members of the Council, the President of the Council welcomed the members and directed the following:

1- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to emphasize the commitment to the official working hours of the teaching staff and employees according to the specified time
2- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to complete the results of the academic stages according to the specified periods and to start the students with the second course with the start of lectures according to the university calendar for the academic year 2023-2024.
3- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to apply sustainable development standards in accordance with their goals set as a contemporary global trend in terms of developing an integrated plan to complete the achievement of sustainable development goals and in line with the vision of the strategic direction of the University of Mosul and in making the College of Administration and Economics a pioneer in achieving global sustainable development indicators.

4- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to motivate the teachers and graduate students to support the Journal of Mesopotamia Development at the College of Administration and Economics with solid scientific research, which contributes to the magazine’s access to international containers.

In conclusion, the topics on the agenda of the Council were discussed and the necessary and appropriate decisions and recommendations were taken thereon.
