Higher Diploma Research in the Department of Economics discusses “Economic feasibility study of the reverse vending machine in the city of Mosul” Tuesday, February 6, 2024

The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the research of the higher diploma tagged “Economic feasibility study for the reverse vending machine in the city of Mosul”.

The current study… Which was submitted by the student “Dima Hakim Luqman Hamed” in the Department of Economics to: The disposal of plastic waste has become a topic of concern for many people who take care of the environment and preserve it, as the Iraqi Ministry of Environment reported that the total amount of waste produced in the country reaches 20 million tons per day in all provinces.

The study reached the most important conclusions: that waste is wasted material amounts and wasted energy that can be used from it, as we can recycle waste, especially plastic ones, for amounts that are relatively less than the amounts of new manufacturing, and also reducing the use of raw materials in manufacturing, and socially, as waste is one of the uncivilized manifestations prevalent in our city.

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdullah Khader Abtan, and the membership of each of the teacher, Mrs. Duha Salem Ahmed, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Waheed Hassan.
