The visit of the Students of Determination Support Unit in the Student Affairs and Registration Department to the College of Administration and Economics on Wednesday morning, 13/3/2024
A meeting was held with the dear students of our college of determination and special needs in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman and the assistants of the Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and the meeting presented the most important problems and obstacles facing them, as well as providing full support and assistance to them in all aspects, especially with regard to the scientific aspect and capacity development.
The vision, mission and objectives of the unit were presented above as shown below.
Unit Vision:
Proper treatment to deal with people with special needs, provide all their requirements and help them complete their scientific career.
Mission of the Unit:
Organizing academic and community efforts in research and study about people with special needs in order to help them in all fields.
Unit Objectives:
1- The unit seeks to enable people with special needs to improve the quality of their social and scientific life and the life of their families to accept them as useful members of society.
2- Coordinating the university as a sponsor for the activities of the Student Affairs Department and the Support Unit for Students with Special Needs.
3- Holding dialogue seminars, training workshops and educational lectures that train and develop the capabilities and capabilities of students with special needs
4- Providing parking spaces for their cars or wheels.
5- Providing ways to assist them in their walk on campus and places for their rest.
