Meeting of the Council of the College of Administration and Economics on Monday, March 18, 2024 …

The Faculty Council met under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and in the presence of the respected assistants of the Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and the respected heads of scientific departments, and the meeting dealt with the following topics:
1- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to commit to working hours for teaching and functional staff according to the specified time frames
2- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to focus on adopting academic accreditation standards in order to obtain the accreditation of the scientific departments in the college.
3- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to follow up the students’ attendance for preliminary and postgraduate studies according to the specified study schedules, as well as to discuss the evaluation of the scientific and academic reality of the departments.

Finally, the Council dealt with what was stated in its agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations thereon.

The current study targeted … Which was submitted by the student “Saif Abdul Razzaq Muhammad Yassin” in the Department of Accounting to: Provide an integrated theoretical framework for text and sentiment analysis and on the practical side aims to determine the impact of text and feelings analysis on the quality of integrated reporting by applying textual analysis techniques and sentiment analysis on a sample of companies. The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: Companies can improve the quality of their reports and provide a more accurate and comprehensive view of their performance through text analysis techniques, and then ensure that their reports are balanced and readable from many categories, regardless of their academic achievement.
