Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and within the scientific activities of the Department of Business Administration, a scientific lecture entitled (Corruption from an Administrative Perspective) on the concept of administrative corruption was delivered by Dr. Adel Muhammad Abdullah and Dr. Ali Dhanoun Al-Jader on Hall 3211 in the Department of Business Administration on Tuesday 19- March -2024 at 10.30 am, and it was attended by the Assistant Dean for Affairs Scientific and administrative and a number of teachers and students of the department, in which he talked about the main goal of the concept of corruption and its characteristics, which are the causes of corruption Types of corruption The concept of administrative corruption Forms of administrative corruption where corruption is a complex phenomenon associated with the economic, social, cultural, educational and political dimensions in society.
Corruption does not recognize spatial and temporal boundaries and one of the most important causes of corruption in society is the large number and conflicting regulations and laws, which leads to the existence of loopholes Frequent exceptions to achieve private interests at the expense of the public interest One of the most important forms of administrative laxity is the abuse of influence and negative power, selfishness, gossip and finally money laundering.
