The Department of Economics – College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul held a scientific symposium entitled (University Student Behaviors between Social Norms and University Instructions)
Wednesday, 8/ 5/2024 at 9 am in the discussion hall 2, which was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, the Dean’s assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, and a number of faculty teachers, affiliates and students of the College …

The symposium opened with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, read by the master’s student in the Department of Economics, Tahseen Rabie Hussein, followed by an opening speech by the Dean of the Faculty and a speech by the Head of the Department of Economics, welcomed by the attendees, then the start of the first session, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. Mufid Thanoun Younis and Prof. Dr. Fatima Ibrahim Khalaf, Rapporteur of the session.

The themes of the scientific symposium included the delivery of 6 research papers, three working papers, including in the first session and three working papers in the second session:

The workshop aimed to highlight the role of the university and educational institutions in promoting moral values in the student community and that the quality of education is not limited to the educational process only, but the need to pay attention to the guiding and psychological role to help university students by controlling emotions, taking responsibility, expressing opinion and constructive dialogue through the necessary moral values necessary for university students.
