The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “Green Intellectual Capital and its Role in Achieving Green Productivity, Testing the Mediating Role of the Strategic Alignment Model / A Field Study in the State Company for the Manufacture of Medicines and Medical Appliances, Samarra”.

The current study which was submitted by the student “Muzahim Riad Hamdoun” in the Department of Business Administration amid to  achieve the green productivity, which is a
Achieving green productivity, which is a goal sought by industrial companies through the investment of green intellectual capital, and in light of the competition experienced by industrial organizations today, which requires coordination and harmony between the capabilities and human and technical resources of the organization; to improve performance levels in both its productive and environmental aspects, it requires employing strategic alignment.

The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: the existence of the impact of green intellectual capital on green productivity by mediating strategic alignment, at the level of the main variables as well as their sub-dimensions, which indicates the important role of intellectual capital and strategic alignment in achieving green productivity in the company studied.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Ahmed, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Abdul Salam Ali Hussein from the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Sattar Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Professor Dr. Maysoon Abdullah Ahmed, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hussein Hassan, and the membership and supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.
