The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The Role of Knowledge Management Operations in Achieving Business Sustainability Dimensions Testing the Mediating Role of Social Media: An Exploratory Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Managers of Korek Cellular Communications Company operating in Iraq”
The current study presented by the student “Omar Khattab Omar” aims to: Clarify the role of knowledge management processes for business organizations in achieving business sustainability Test the mediating role of social media in the organization and test the relationship between knowledge management processes in its dimensions: knowledge generation, knowledge storage, knowledge distribution and application of knowledge, and its relationship to business sustainability in its dimensions: the economic dimension, the environmental dimension and the social dimension.
A set of results were reached, the most important of which are: (There is a direct and indirect impact relationship of knowledge management processes in business sustainability, mediated by social media, positively and morally, and it was also concluded that organizations that seek to reach the highest degrees of success should not only possess knowledge, but it requires the ability to employ it in order to achieve the sustainability of the organization)
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Faisal Alwan Al-Taie from the University of Karbala, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Amer Abdul Razzaq Abdul Mohsen, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Younis Mohamed Al-Sabawi, and under the supervision and membership of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman.
