Master’s thesis in the Department of Management Information Systems discusses “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in GreThe Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Green Innovation by Mediating Knowledge Management Processes: A Survey Study in Oil Companies in Nineveh Governorates”

Part of the discussion was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mounir Salem Taha, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs.

The current study presented by Haider Zahir Hussein, a student in the Department of Management Information Systems, aims to: Demonstrate the role of artificial intelligence in green innovation by mediating knowledge management processes in oil companies in Nineveh Governorate, North Iraq, as he developed a conceptual model that includes the proposed hypothesis relationships and tested them to identify the extent and size of the impact under study.

A set of results were reached, the most important of which is that the results of the study showed that artificial intelligence has a positive and significant impact directly on green innovation in the oil sector in Nineveh Governorate. In addition, the indirect effects of AI in green innovation mediated by knowledge management processes.

The discussion committee was headed by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Hatem Ali Abdullah from the University of Tikrit, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ramadan Mahmoud Remo, under the supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Amer Abdul Razzaq Abdul Mohsen.
