The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The impact of quality engineering processes in improving occupational health and safety requirements for civil defense personnel in Nineveh Governorate – a case study”.

The current study submitted by the student “Diaa Nizar Ibrahim Al-Hayali” in the Department of Industrial Management aimed to: Determine the impact of quality engineering processes in enhancing occupational health and safety requirements in the Directorate of Civil Defense of Nineveh. In its conceptual framework, the study adopted the subject of quality engineering processes as an independent variable, as well as the subject of occupational health and safety requirements as an approved variable.

The study concluded to the most important conclusions: that the general rate of perception of the surveyed individuals was positive, which confirms that they pay attention to quality engineering processes in order to enhance the quality of occupational safety in the surveyed institution to achieve a correlation and a significant impact between quality engineering processes and occupational health and safety requirements in the surveyed directorate.

The discussion committee was headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hani Mohamed, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Heba Mohamed Hussein from the Northern Technical University / Administrative Technical College, and Assistant Professor Mr. Riyad Jamil Wahab, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ali Ismail.
