The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The Role of Environmental Total Quality Management Requirements in Establishing a Green Hospital: An Exploratory Study at Ibn Al-Atheer Children’s Teaching Hospital”

Part of the discussion was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The current study presented by the student “Marei Menem Malallah” in the Department of Business Administration aims to identify the role of the requirements of environmental total quality management represented in (senior management commitment, continuous improvement, teamwork, education and training, and resource management), in establishing a green hospital, represented by: (energy management, green leadership, providing healthy food, internal environmental quality), at Ibn Al-Atheer Children’s Teaching Hospital.

The study reached conclusions, most notably the existence of a correlation and impact at the two levels (macro and micro) for each dimension of environmental total quality management in the green hospital,

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam Yahya, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Adel Muhammad Abdullah and Assistant Professor Dr. Basir Khalaf Khazal from the Northern Technical University / Hawija Technical Institute, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Safwan Yassin Hassan.
