PhD thesis in the Department of Industrial Management discusses “Optimal allocation of resources within the cloud manufacturing environment by adopting swarm intelligence algorithms / a case study with a proposed model in the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries” … Tuesday, September 3, 2024…

The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “Optimal allocation of resources within the cloud manufacturing environment by adopting swarm intelligence algorithms / a case study with a proposed model in the State Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries”

Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman and the Scientific Assistant.

The aim of the current study… Which was submitted by the student “Raqia Jawad Naji” in the Department of Industrial Management to: Presenting a proposed model such as the optimal allocation of resources within the environment of the cloud manufacturing past by adopting swarm intelligence algorithms in the State Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries / Baghdad,

In order to generate a cloud manufacturing environment (Clond Manufacturing-CMg) capable of keeping pace with dynamic and continuous changes in customer tastes and short manufacturing and product life cycles.

The study reached a set of conclusions taken from its theoretical and practical sides, the most important of which are:

1. The proposed model had a great impact on reaching the optimal allocation of soft and material resources for cloud manufacturing by diagnosing a number of noticeable differences in reducing time and cost. Risk, Improving QoS, Balancing Loads, Utilization Rate, Reliability, Response Time.
2- The designed cloud manufacturing platform contributed to the efficiency of cloud manufacturing and the efficiency of customization.

The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Al-Jubouri and with the membership of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Fahd Abd Ali from the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Saleh from the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Sattar Al-Hafiz and Assistant Professor Dr. Zahra Ghazi Thanoun and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Adel Zakir Al-Naama.
