College of Administration and Economics

The Faculty Council met in its first session at the beginning of the new academic year 2024-2025 under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and in the presence of the respected assistants of the Dean for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and the respected heads of scientific departments, and after welcoming the attendees by the Dean of the Faculty, the meeting dealt with the following topics:

1- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to prepare for the start of the new academic year 2024-2025 and to prepare the classrooms and the requirements for the success and excellence of the educational process.
2- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to focus on holding conferences, seminars and scientific workshops and preparing an integrated plan for the academic year 2024-2025
3- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to motivate teachers to publish in local, regional and international journals, especially publishing in journals within Scopus.

4- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to complete the requirements of the Bologna track according to the directive of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Finally, the Council dealt with its agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations thereon.
