The Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The Impact of Critical Success Factors in Adopting Artificial Intelligence for Supply Chain Management / A Survey Study in the Petroleum Products Distribution Company / Nineveh Branch”.
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and the Dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs.
The aim of the current study submitted by the student “Ahmed Hilal Khalaf”
In the Department of Management Information Systems: Identify the extent to which the critical success factors (organizational factors, technical factors, human factors, as well as environmental factors) affect the dimensions of the technological acceptance model (TAM) represented in (ease of use, expected benefits), which in turn affect the behavioral intention to adopt artificial intelligence.
The study concluded the most important conclusions: that organizational, technical and human factors as well as environmental factors are decisive factors that directly affect the ease of use and expected benefits of adopting artificial intelligence (AI) for the supply chain in the Petroleum Products Distribution Company / Nineveh Branch from the point of view of the members of the study sample. The intention to adopt AI for the processing chain will be influenced by ease of use and expected benefits.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Fattah Al-Shaher, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Hussein, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nizar Mohamed Ali from the University of Zakho, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ramadan Mahmoud Remo.
