An awareness lecture entitled the seriousness of the Speicher crime and other terrorist crimes and the need to activate the spirit of citizenship

In light of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the continuous confirmation of the presidency of the University of Mosul on the need to activate seminars, workshops and awareness lectures on the dangers of terrorism and extremist ideology, the Department of Management Information Systems at the College of Administration and Economics held a lecture entitled (The seriousness of the Speicher crime and other terrorist crimes and the need to activate the spirit of citizenship) delivered by Dr. Farraj Nghimish Al-Shammari.
The lecture targeted the crime of Speicher that occurred in June 2014, as well as talking about the crime of genocide that took place against the Yazidi brothers in August 2014 and the subsequent crimes that affected the Christian component, and finally talked about the crimes committed against the people of Nineveh, including the killing of 1200 young people and their disappearance in what is known as Al-Khasfa, south of Nineveh, and the effects of these crimes on the social fabric, the need to confront these extremist ideas, and the need to activate the spirit of citizenship, peaceful coexistence and cooperation with the valiant security and military services. Security and sound thought begin with the individual and then complete in cooperation with the security forces and relevant government agencies.
