The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the master’s thesis tagged “The impact of unemployment benefits for a sample of countries with reference to Iraq”.
The aim of the current study submitted by the student “Tahseen Rabie Hazem Al-Hamdani” In the economics section to: Unemployment is one of the economic and social problems facing most societies and countries, both developed and developing, and it strives to reduce it over time and make it one of its priorities and future plans in achieving development and well-being for its people.
The study concluded that all variables of the study are stable, and that subsidies have an adverse effect on unemployment in the sense that increasing subsidies contributes to reducing the level of unemployment in this group of countries.
The discussion committee was headed by Prof. Dr. Hisham Muhammad Abdullah, and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Joan Saeed Hussein from Salahaddin University / Erbil, and Assistant Professor Dr. Nizar Siddiq Elias, under the supervision and membership of assistant Professor Dr. Ibrahim Adeeb Ibrahim.
