College of Administration and Economics

The Faculty Council met in its eighth session under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and in the presence of the Dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs and the heads of scientific departments, and after welcoming the attendees by the Dean of the Faculty, the meeting dealt with the following topics:

1- The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to commit to working hours for the faculty teachers and employees according to the specified time and with the electronic fingerprint system for the fingerprint of attendance and departure.
2- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to follow up the schedules of graduate and preliminary studies and adhere to the timings of academic lectures, as well as directing the formation of research teams for publication in international journals, especially those listed in Scopus containers.
3- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to focus on the need to hold conferences, seminars and scientific workshops on an ongoing basis, which enhances the college’s scientific and academic activity.

4- He also directed the need to complete the requirements for obtaining national accreditation in a way that contributes to raising the scientific level of the college. Instructing the divisions and units to facilitate the tasks of the accreditation committees and provide statistics and official books that prove the achievement of accreditation standards.

In conclusion, the Council dealt with the most important provisions of its agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations thereon.
