The Department of Accounting at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed the doctoral thesis tagged “The role of digital accounting techniques in enhancing bank governance and its impact on the quality of accounting information (an applied study)”
Part of it was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and the Dean’s assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs.
The aim of the current study submitted by the student “Ammar Ghazi Ibrahim”
In the accounting section to: Identify the relationship between the application of digital accounting techniques and bank governance and their direct impact on the quality of accounting information and identify problems that limit the application of digital accounting techniques in banking.
The study concluded the most important conclusions: to adopt the use of digital accounting techniques by economic units in general and knowledge in particular providing infrastructure helps in the development of the accounting profession and makes it keep pace with changes.
The discussion committee was headed by the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Rammo, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Luqman Muhammad Ayoub, Assistant Professor Dr. Silwan Hafez Hamid Kayed from Al-Mustansiriya University, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Wahid Dhanoun, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Sami Hassab Allah from the University of Baghdad / Higher Institute for Accounting and Financial Studies, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Kubra Muhammad Taher Hammoudi.
