College of Administration and Economics

The Faculty Council met in its ninth session under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and in the presence of the Dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs and the heads of scientific departments, and after welcoming the attendees by the Dean of the Faculty, the meeting dealt with the following topics:

1- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to follow up the end of the first course exams for students of the second, third and fourth stages and to prepare the requirements for the success of the educational process in a distinct manner.
2- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to prepare an integrated plan for holding conferences, seminars and scientific workshops in a way that contributes to strengthening the educational process in our college.
3- The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to focus on publishing scientific research in local and international journals, especially those classified within Scopus containers, in a way that contributes to supporting our dear university in international rankings.

4- He also directed to focus on preparing the appropriate places for the examination committees and equipping them with all their needs and requirements, in a way that contributes to achieving their success enablers in accordance with the university examination management manual.

In conclusion, the Council dealt with the most important items on its agenda and took the necessary decisions and recommendations thereon.
