Meeting of the Council of the College of Business and Economics…
The Council of the College of Administration and Economics held its tenth session on Monday, December 23, 2024, under the chairmanship of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and in the presence of the Dean’s assistants for scientific and administrative affairs and heads of scientific departments.
The meeting began with a welcome speech from the Dean of the College to the attendees, then the Council addressed the following topics:
1. Follow-up exams at the end of the first course…
The Dean of the Faculty directed the heads of scientific departments to follow up the exams at the end of the first course for students of the second, third and fourth stages, and to prepare all the necessary requirements to ensure the success of the examination process.
2. Preparation for postgraduate exams…
The Dean of the Faculty stressed the importance of full preparation for the end of the first course exams for graduate students in all programs, which will start early next year, God willing, while ensuring the provision of all the necessary requirements for their success.
3. Motivating teachers to publish scientific…
The Dean of the Faculty stressed the need to urge teachers in scientific departments to publish their scientific research in local and international journals, especially those classified within the “Scopus” containers, in a way that contributes to enhancing the scientific performance of the faculty and supporting its position and the university’s position in international rankings.
The Council concluded its session by discussing the most important items on the agenda, and taking appropriate decisions and recommendations in order to achieve the objectives of the college and support its academic career.
