College of Administration and Economics

The College of Administration and Economics Council held its eleventh session on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, headed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and attended by the Dean’s Assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and Heads of Scientific Departments.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech from the Dean of the College to the attendees, and then the Council discussed the following topics:

1. Follow-up on the first-semester final exams…
The Dean of the College directed the heads of scientific departments to follow up on the first-semester final exams for students in the second, third and fourth stages, and to prepare all the necessary requirements to ensure the success of the examination process.

2. Preparing for postgraduate exams…
The Dean of the College stressed the importance of full preparation for the first-semester final exams for postgraduate students in all programs, which will start early next year, God willing, while ensuring the provision of all the necessary requirements for their success.

3. Motivating lecturers to publish scientifically…
The Dean of the College stressed the need to encourage lecturers in scientific departments to publish their scientific research in local and international journals, especially those classified within the “Scopus” containers, which contributes to enhancing the scientific performance of the college and supporting its position and the position of the university in international classifications.

The Council concluded its session by discussing the most important items on the agenda, and taking appropriate decisions and recommendations to achieve the goals of the college and support its academic progress.
