College of Administration and Economics

On Wednesday, February 13, 2025, the Editorial Board of the Rafidain Development Journal met, headed by the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics and Editor-in-Chief, Professor Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and attended by members of the Editorial Board.

The meeting witnessed the discussion of a number of important issues related to the evaluation of scientific research submitted for publication in the journal, as well as examining the requirements necessary for issuing the next issue. The extent to which the requirements for including the journal in the Scopus container have been completed was also reviewed, with the aim of enhancing its global spread and raising its academic classification.

The attendees stressed the importance of accelerating the evaluation of research submitted by researchers, to ensure the quality of scientific content and speed of publication. At the end of the meeting, the items on the agenda were discussed, and appropriate decisions were made to support the progress of the scientific journal.

This meeting comes within the efforts of the Editorial Board to raise the level of the journal and achieve the standards of solid academic publishing, which contributes to enhancing its presence in international scientific forums.
