The Council of the College of Administration and Economics holds its fifteenth session to follow up on the affairs of the college and develop its performance

The Council of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul held its fifteenth session on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, headed by Professor Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, Dean of the College, and in the presence of the members of the Council, to discuss a number of important academic and administrative issues.
The most prominent topics of the meeting:
The Council discussed completing the results of the first phase according to the Bologna Track system, and processing student cases according to the applicable instructions, in addition to following up on the procedures for transferring students to the second course.
The Dean of the College also directed the heads of the scientific departments to focus on investing in the requirements of program accreditation, and preparing to receive the committees responsible for granting it, by providing all the required supplies. He stressed the importance of enhancing quality standards, and spreading the culture of quality among faculty members and students, which contributes to improving the level of quality assurance and academic performance in the college.
In addition, the Council stressed the need to continuously update the scientific expertise system, in a way that supports the scientific path of the college, and keeps pace with modern developments in the field of administration and economics.
Promoting Scientific Research:
Within the framework of supporting scientific research, the Council stressed the importance of publishing in international journals, and urged faculty and graduate students to actively participate in distinguished scientific production, as it plays a role in enhancing the college’s position at the international level.
Finally, the Council affirmed its commitment to developing the college’s academic and administrative level, through implementing development plans aimed at improving the education and scientific research environment, and enhancing the quality of academic performance, in line with the university’s aspirations towards excellence and leadership.
