College of Administration and Economics

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul organized a ceremony honoring female affiliates at the college. The ceremony was initiated by Professor Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, Dean of the College.

The ceremony was held in the Grand Hall on Thursday, March 20, 2025, and began with a welcome to the attendees, followed by a recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyred heroes.

The Dean of the College delivered a speech in which he expressed his deep appreciation for the role of women in society, praising their importance in various fields and emphasizing the need to support and empower them.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation and shields of honor were distributed to the women in attendance in recognition of their valuable contributions to the college and society, amid an atmosphere of pride and honor.

International Women’s Day is a moment to recognize all efforts and contributions, and the College of Administration and Economics affirms its continued commitment to supporting women and strengthening their active role.
