Conclusion of the First International Forum for Sustainable Universities at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, and in cooperation with the University of Mosul’s Platform for Sustainable Development and Green Hydrogen, the activities of the First Virtual International Forum for Sustainable Universities concluded on the evening of Monday, April 7, 2025. The event was organized by the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, with the participation of a select group of researchers from Arab and foreign countries.
The second day of the forum began with an opening presentation, ably moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Ashti Abdul Sattar Al-Mazuri from the University of Mosul, Iraq, who moderated the general dialogue and coordinated the forum’s activities. The second scientific session of the forum was chaired by Dr. Iman Salem Al-Badawi from the Republic of Tunisia. The session featured the presentation of seven distinguished scientific research papers by the following researchers:

Chief Engineer Mohamed Ahmed Najm Al-Din
Professor Ahmed Theeb Ahmed
Professor Dr. Shaima Hadi Al-Rubaie
Dr. Mohamed bin Eid Al-Sarihi
Assistant Professor Mahmoud Wahid Saidam
Professor Dr. Samir Saadoun Al-Jubouri
Extensive time was devoted to discussions and scientific interventions, which enriched the session’s themes and contributed to the constructive academic dialogue.
At the conclusion of the forum, Dr. Amal Sarhan Al-Taie from the University of Mosul, Iraq, who served as the forum coordinator, announced the scientific recommendations emerging from the participants, emphasizing the importance of these initiatives in building a sustainable university environment and strengthening international research partnerships.
