Meeting of the Deans’ Committee of Faculties of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul’s College of Administration and Economics

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul hosted this  morning, Thursday, April 10, 2025, a meeting of the Deans’ Committee of Faculties of Administration and Economics at Iraqi Universities. This meeting is a regular meeting held every two months in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The deans were received at 9:00 a.m. at the college’s deanship by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman, members of the College Council, and a group of faculty and staff members in an atmosphere filled with warmth and appreciation.

The reception activities began with a visit to the college’s theater hall, where a welcoming speech was delivered to greet the visiting delegation. This was followed by the distribution of letters of thanks and appreciation granted by the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, to the deans, which were delivered by the Acting Dean of the College.

The visit also included a field tour of the college, including a tour of the classrooms, college buildings, and its academic library. The delegation then proceeded to the Scientific Forum Hall to hold the committee’s official meeting.
The meeting addressed four main topics: innovations in private education, including private colleges and departments, as well as innovations in government education and postgraduate studies. The third topic focused on academic affairs, particularly the academic proficiency exam between government and private colleges. The fourth topic focused on the evaluation of books authored by Iraqi university faculty.
After discussing the topics presented, the meeting concluded in an atmosphere of academic cooperation and a desire to unify efforts between the colleges of management and economics at various universities.
