A doctoral dissertation was discussed in the Department of Industrial Management, College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, on Thursday, April 17, 2025, entitled:
“The Moderating Role of Supply Chain Flexibility in the Relationship between Strategic Agility and Accelerated Manufacturing: A Field Study at the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries.” The dissertation was presented by student Ghanem Mahmoud Ahmed.

Part of the dissertation was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Thaeir Ahmed Saadoon Al-Samman.

The study aimed to test the nature of the correlations and levels of influence between strategic agility as an independent variable and accelerated manufacturing as a dependent variable, while verifying the role of supply chain flexibility as a moderating variable in this relationship.

The study reached a number of important results, the most prominent of which was the existence of a significant direct relationship between strategic agility in its various dimensions and accelerated manufacturing, with a clear influence of supply chain flexibility that contributed to strengthening this relationship.

The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Al-Jabouri, and included Professor Dr. Qasim Ahmed Hanzel from Tikrit University, Assistant Professor Maan Waad Allah Jar Allah, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Talal Ahmed, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hani Mohammed. Professor Dr. Adel Dhaker Al-Nama also participated in the committee as a supervisor and member.
