The College of Administration and Economics Shines in the Creative Arts Competition at the University of Mosul, Winning Top Places”

The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul continued its brilliance and distinction by winning top places in the 31st Creative Arts Competition for the year 2025. The competition was organized by the University of Mosul under the theme “Creativity Against Corruption… Art that Inspires Change” during a ceremony held on the morning of Thursday, April 17, 2025.

With the active participation of Professor Thaeir Ahmed Saadoin Al-Samman, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, the college recorded a distinguished presence in various competition categories, affirming its position among the university’s colleges.

The results were as follows:

First place in the category of Combating Administrative and Financial Corruption went to Assistant Professor Dr. Manal Abdul-Jabbar Al-Samak, a lecturer in the Department of Marketing Management.

First place in the “Abnormal Phenomena in Society” track was achieved by Ms. Linda Khaled Mohammed, an employee in the Marketing Management Department. She continued her brilliance by also winning:

First place in the Poetry Track,

First place in the Story Track,

Second place in the Public Speaking Track,

Second place in the Investigative Journalism Track.

Ahmed Aziz Abdullah, a fourth-year student in the Accounting Department (morning studies), also won second place in the Public Speaking Track.

Ms. Anwar Ahmed Hussein, an employee in the Auditing Unit, won third place in the Journalism Article Track.

In addition to these individual achievements, the College of Business and Economics also won third place in the University-wide Artistic Activities category, an achievement that reinforces the cultural and creative excellence of its students.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of awards and certificates of appreciation to the winners amid a festive atmosphere that embodied the spirit of creativity and excellence.
