The Academic Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics organizes a specialized symposium to enhance scientific research and global publishing skills.

In the presence of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, the Dean’s Assistants for Academic and Administrative Affairs, and a number of faculty members and students, the Academic Affairs Unit organized a specialized scientific symposium entitled “Scientific Research and Publishing in Global Containers: From Idea to Academic Excellence.” The symposium took place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in the hall of the new building at the college.
The symposium aimed to develop the capabilities of researchers and students in preparing scientific research according to international standards and to guide them toward best practices in academic publishing. This symposium included familiarizing them with the mechanisms for writing scientific papers, selecting accredited journals, dealing with refereeing requirements, and adhering to the ethics of scientific research. The symposium included two scientific sessions:
The first scientific session was chaired by Professor Dr. Ma’an Wadallah Jarallah Al-Ma’adidi, with the participation of:

The symposium witnessed a wide attendance and remarkable interaction from the college’s faculty and students, as part of the college’s relentless efforts to promote a culture of scientific research and openness to prestigious international publishing.
