College of Administration and Economics

Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, and in the presence of the Director and members of the Editorial Board of the journal “Tanmeet Al-Rafidain”, an expanded meeting was held today, Tuesday, April 29, 2025, to follow up on the progress of the journal’s development and complete the requirements for its inclusion in the global Scopus database.
The meeting discussed the journal’s status and future plans, as well as mechanisms for attracting international researchers to enhance geographical diversity in publishing and increase scientific citations. Financial and administrative aspects were also addressed, with the Dean affirming his full support for ensuring the journal’s sustainability and development.
In a qualitative step, the Dean made direct contact with a specialized professor from Australia to participate in the discussion and provide technical and scientific support, contributing to achieving the required criteria for inclusion in Scopus.  This meeting is an extension of a series of daily meetings held by the college’s deanship, in coordination with the editorial board, to develop the journal and elevate it to the ranks of internationally respected academic journals.
