College of Administration and Economics

The 21st session of the College Council of the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul was held this morning at 9:00 a.m., chaired by the Dean, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, and attended by the council members.

The meeting addressed a series of qualitative topics outlining the next academic phase. Emphasis was placed on enhancing scientific publication in global Scopus-indexed databases, along with developing comprehensive annual plans for conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops across all departments, in alignment with the college’s aspirations for research excellence.

Discussions also included mechanisms for archiving all scientific, social, and athletic activities hosted by the college, aiming to document them in a comprehensive institutional archive that highlights the college’s achievements academically and within the community.

As part of efforts to foster creativity, the Dean encouraged faculty members, staff, and students to participate in the World Science Day competition, noting its role in cultivating a spirit of innovation and high-level scientific competitiveness.
