As part of its continuous efforts to foster a safe and internationally compliant academic environment, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul has enhanced its infrastructure dedicated to emergency preparedness, safety, and disaster prevention. This includes equipping college buildings with emergency exits, providing fire safety equipment, and distributing first aid kits at strategically selected locations across the campus.
This initiative represents a practical embodiment of the college’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), ensuring that its academic environment aligns with safety and protection standards.
Through these practical measures, the college aims to support the data required for Indicator S1 within the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking for sustainable campuses. This comes in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, as part of the University of Mosul’s broader vision for excellence in academic and environmental performance.
