The College of Administration and Economics Participates in a Scientific Workshop on the Green Metric University Ranking – University of Mosul
Under the guidance of Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul, a delegation from the College participated in the scientific workshop titled “Continuous Update of Green Metric Ranking Data for Sustainable Universities,” held at the Euphrates Hall – College of Engineering, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
The College’s delegation included:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid – Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashti Abdulsattar Al-Mizuri – Head of the Media and Government Communications Unit
Lecturer Zaid Khalil Ibrahim – Head of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Unit
Mr. Ayman Jader Hameed – Head of the Studies and Planning Unit
The workshop was organized by the Department of Studies and Planning in cooperation with the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University Presidency. It aimed to enhance the readiness of colleges to meet the requirements of the Green Metric ranking, which assesses the sustainability performance of universities.
The workshop featured participation from several specialists, including:
Prof. Dr. Muthanna Subhi Suleiman – Director of the Department of Studies and Planning
Dr. Uday Qusay Al-Jalabi – Head of the University Rankings Unit
Dr. Raad Ayoub – Head of the Sustainable Development Unit
Mr. Anas Moan Tahir – From the Department of Studies and Planning
They presented a detailed explanation of the mechanisms for updating data and completing the ranking-specific tables, emphasizing the vital role of colleges in supporting the university’s strategic direction toward sustainability and excellence in global rankings.
