As part of its ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure and provide an integrated service environment for its students, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul carried out a thorough field follow-up on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, for the cafeteria project of the Accounting Department. The two-story facility is considered one of the college’s vital service projects.
The follow-up was led by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, who held a meeting with Eng. Ban Mohammed Jassim from the Department of Reconstruction and Projects at the University of Mosul, head of the cafeteria implementation committee. The meeting resulted in finalizing the designs for the external façade, the kitchen, sanitary facilities, the Student Services Center (photocopying), as well as the interior hall and façade layouts, with detailed discussions of technical specifications.
Afterward, the Dean, accompanied by the engineer and the Head of the Administrative Services Division at the College, moved to the construction site to follow up on the second phase of the project, following the completion of the first phase which included soil replacement and the construction of the retaining wall. The current phase involves executing the structural framework of the cafeteria in preparation for the completion of subsequent stages.
This project is expected to be completed soon and will be open to all students of the College, thereby enhancing student services and providing a modern academic environment that meets both comfort and study requirements.
