Following the establishment of a new headquarters for the Quality Assurance and University Performance Division on June 23, 2025, equipped with essential office devices to improve work efficiency, the Dean of the College, Professor Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, accompanied by his deputies for scientific, administrative, and financial affairs, visited the division’s newly rehabilitated headquarters on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. The office was relocated close to the Dean’s office, where they met with the division head, Assistant Lecturer Zaid Khalil Ibrahim.

This step was taken in implementation of the directives of the University President, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, to follow up on the requirements for global rankings, quality assurance, and program accreditation, which enhances the competitiveness of the University of Mosul among prestigious global universities. Modern devices, advanced computers, suitable furniture, and qualified staff were provided to ensure the rapid and accurate completion of tasks and statistics.

The Deanery pays special attention to the Quality Assurance Division due to its pivotal role in developing academic performance and ensuring compliance with international standards, within the framework of supporting all divisions, units, and academic departments.

These efforts align with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by raising education quality and accreditation standards, and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through investing in modern technical infrastructure, thus enhancing the university’s ability to compete regionally and globally.
