Master’s Thesis Defense on “The Impact of Quality Culture in Supporting Green Supply Chains” at the Department of Industrial Management – College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul

On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the discussion hall at the Department of Business Administration – College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, hosted the defense of the master’s thesis submitted by Rahma Mazin Zbar from the Department of Industrial Management, entitled:
“The Impact of Quality Culture in Supporting Green Supply Chains: An Exploratory Study in the Northern Electricity Distribution Company.”
The study aimed to explore the reality of quality culture and green supply chains within the Northern Electricity Distribution Company and to analyze management’s awareness of their dimensions. It further sought to highlight the role of quality culture in strengthening the company’s engagement with green supply chains by meeting operational needs while preserving the environment. Additionally, the research examined the correlations and causal relationships between the dimensions of quality culture and green supply chains to determine the extent to which organizational principles align with environmental requirements.
The findings revealed a statistically significant and strong relationship between quality culture and green supply chains, underscoring the vital importance of management’s commitment to adopting quality culture as a direct and positive driver in supporting environmental sustainability initiatives and enhancing the effectiveness of supply chains.
