Scientific Workshop at the College of Administration and Economics Discusses Quality Standards in Scientific Research between Local and International Publishing
Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the Scientific Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Industrial Management, organized on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. in Hall No. (1), a scientific workshop entitled:
“Quality Standards in Scientific Research: A Critical Comparison between Publishing Mechanisms in Local Journals and Internationally Indexed Journals.”
The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rughaid Ibrahim Ismail, who analyzed the fundamental differences between publishing in local journals and those indexed internationally, highlighting the quality standards and scientific rigor required for international publishing.
The workshop was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Salem Khalil Khalid, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, alongside a number of faculty members and postgraduate students. The discussions enriched the session and emphasized the importance of adhering to global academic standards in supporting the quality of scientific research.
