Ministerial Committee Visits the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul in Preparation for Launching a Higher Diploma in Strategic Planning
As part of the efforts to develop academic programs and open new educational horizons, the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul welcomed on Thursday, September 25, 2025, a specialized ministerial committee to review the requirements for establishing a one-year Higher Diploma program in Business Administration / Strategic Planning.
The committee consisted of a distinguished group of professors specialized in Business Administration from Iraqi universities:
Professor Dr. Ahmed Ali Hussein Atiyah – University of Tikrit
Assistant Professor Dr. Hamza Hameed Yaseen Alwan – University of Diyala
Assistant Professor Dr. Noor Khalil Ibrahim Ahmed – University of Baghdad
Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Alawi Hassan – University of Karbala
During the visit, the committee examined the material and human resources available in the Department of Business Administration and the college as a whole, in line with the requirements for launching this vital specialization.
The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Younis Al-Sabawi, along with a number of faculty members from the department.
This step comes within the college’s pursuit to strengthen its academic standing and meet labor market needs by providing society with advanced expertise in the field of strategic planning.
