The Championship of Departments at the College of Business and Economics – University of Mosul ignites the atmosphere of competition and sportsmanship among students
Under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, the Student Activities Division / Sports Activities Unit held the five-a-side football division championship on Sunday and Monday, October 12-13, 2025.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic competitions among the students of the scientific departments, where three matches were held during the first two days, and the results resulted in:
• Industrial Management Department defeated the Information Systems Department with a score of (7-1).
• The Business Administration Department defeated the Marketing Management Department with a score of (5–1).
• The Accounting Department defeated the Economics Department with a score of (7-1).
The matches were held in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and high sportsmanship, confirming the college’s keenness to support student activities and enhance team spirit and positive competition among its students.
