The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul Continues Its Developmental Approach with a Specialized Training Course in Media and Government Communication Skills

In implementation of the directives issued by the Media and Government Communication Department at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training course titled:

“Enhancing the Efficiency of Departmental Representatives in Media and Government Communication Skills.”

The course was held in Hall No. (3) at the College Deanship on Wednesday and Thursday, November 5–6, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

Supervised by Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College, the course aimed to enhance the core media skills of departmental representatives, enabling them to effectively cover the scientific activities within their departments and prepare related news reports for publication on the college’s official pages and website in both Arabic and English. This initiative seeks to strengthen the college’s media presence and highlight its academic and scientific achievements.

The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashti Abdul Sattar Al-Mazouri, with the attendance of departmental representatives and staff members from the Media and Government Communication Division.

The course featured interactive discussions between the division head and participants on mechanisms for improving media performance and unifying the college’s media discourse in alignment with the university’s mission and objectives.

This course is part of the developmental plan of the Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Administration and Economics, aimed at empowering media personnel to perform their roles with high efficiency and professionalism, thereby contributing to enhancing the college’s status within the academic and media landscape of the university.
