The study, submitted by the student Rafi’ Abdulhameed Taha, examined the role played by five sustainable management strategies—resource-use efficiency, transition to clean energy, social responsibility, sustainable supply chain, and reporting and transparency—in reducing the carbon footprint at the North Refineries Company. The research aimed to clarify the effect of each strategy as an independent variable in reducing carbon emissions, considered the dependent variable, in support of the company’s move toward sound environmental performance.

The results showed a high level of application of sustainable management strategies within the company, according to the perceptions of the sample respondents. This reflects the company’s clear interest in adopting these practices to enhance sustainability and achieve environmentally friendly operational efficiency.
