Discussion of a Higher Diploma Thesis in the Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul on the Impact of Continuous Improvement on the Quality of Data and Information
The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul discussed the Higher Diploma thesis titled “The Impact of the Continuous Improvement Approach in Enhancing the Quality of Data and Information” on Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Discussion Hall No. (1).
The study, submitted by Anfal Shakeeb Dhnon Zino Al-Dulaimi from the Department of Industrial Management, aims to investigate the effect of continuous improvement methodologies on enhancing the quality of data and information. It also highlights the strategic value of this approach in building a more efficient information environment that supports institutional decision-making and contributes to achieving organizational goals more effectively.
The research concluded that the continuous improvement methodology—particularly the PDCA model—provides an effective practical framework for improving the quality of data and information within organizations by diagnosing problems, addressing them, improving performance efficiency, and increasing the reliability of informational outputs.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul-Sattar Al-Hafidh – College of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul, with the membership of: Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Ali Ismail – Member, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Talal Ahmed – Member and Asst. Prof. Dr. Bassam Muneeb Ali Al-Tai – Member and Supervisor.
